Musical focus and expertise have always been an attitude for DJ EFUNK. For this reason, he is strongly influenced by house music productions that have got a strong groove, so as to develop his own future sound.
The sound of the future is a fusion of the best elements of the present and the past. His continuous involvement and study of US House music, from the early beginning until today, have allowed him to build a collection of strong underground tracks that form his own music signature today.
Track selection and flow are among his strongest points as a DJ performer.

Dancing is the key in his events. DJ EFUNK presents exclusively dance music and therefore he prefers to perform in Night Clubs and Bars where there is a dancefloor or enough space for the people to dance.
His venues of interest are parties with cool and open minded people when it comes to music and his mission is to create a great experience out of this. It can be a place, an organizer or venue, a gathering, almost anything, as long as there is the right place and crowd involved.  Size, age, gender, color don't make a difference in our house music. We will all come together as one because house music is a universal language. In order to perform on his desired level as a DJ, he avoid residencies and continuous gigs.

Like Derrick May once said, performing music as a DJ is like making love, it has to be soft and tender at the beggining and hard and strong afterwards. With his style of playing he is creating a moody atmoshpere with increased tension as the night moves on, until we all reach together a music climax. His music is also intended to introduce and educate people to the underground music culture, just like the experience we lived ourselves when we got in touch with legendary house music producers and djs like moodymann. He puts all of my passion in this experience and live it to the maximum like it's his first time.

What makes a DJ unique, in his opinion, is an excellence in the combination of music selection and technical skills.
Since he is also an awarded turntablist, his way of playing contains a lot of technical skills, signature mixes and isolator effects. He usually performs with 2 DENON PRIME S5000M PRIME vinyl-feel CD players, or Technics MK II Turntables attached to a Digital Vinyl System (Traktor Scratch or Serato), or ordinary Technics MK II turntables with records. His DJ Booth includes an Allen Heath XONE92 rotary mixer, a Bozak 4 band Isolator, a TRAKTOR CONTROL Z2 and 2 Technics MK II turntables. It's only natural for him to perform with any other professional equipment as long as he is informed about the DJ booth before the venue.

Always happy to expand his collaboration with radio stations around the world that play house music to listeners across the world. In the Mixes section of this website you can find a huge collection of his house music sessions broadcasted by plasticradio.gr and published on mixcloud.com. He hit the #1 ranking in #House and #Deep House several times on mixcloud's charts in Greece and on average position 10-20 in the Global Chicago House Chart.
